My work spans Africa and beyond, with a proven record of leading, mentoring, and strengthening laboratory systems to meet international standards.

Professional Experience

Clinical Trials Scientist
London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) – Kambia District, Sierra Leone

  • Lead laboratory scientist for clinical and epidemiological trials, with a focus on Ebola, malaria, and other infectious diseases.

  • Oversaw end-to-end laboratory processes, including sample collection, processing, storage, and data integrity in compliance with Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) standards.

  • Played a critical role in a multi-country vaccine trial assessing the immunogenicity of Ebola vaccines in malaria-exposed populations.

  • Developed and maintained SOPs, quality manuals, and audit checklists to meet international research and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams across Africa, Europe, and the United States to deliver time-sensitive project goals.
